Old Behrman was a painter who lived on the ground floor of the apartment building. Behrman was a failure in art. He was a fierce, little, old man who protected the two young women in the studio apartment above him.

Later that day, Sue came to the bed where Johnsy lay, and put one arm around her.

"I have something to tell you, white mouse," she said. "Mister Behrman died of pneumonia today in the hospital. He was sick only two days. 貓膩的《將夜》前半部分，《將夜》是一本前半部分看著爽後半部分看著虐的小說。貓膩在目前的網文作家中可稱真正意義上的大神，文筆細膩構思完整，對人物刻畫也比較到位，小說中總會有給人留下特別印象的人，《將夜》中人物刻畫最好的不是男女主角，個人認為是大師兄、二師兄和夫子。
賊道三痴的大部分小說例如《上品寒士》，賊道三痴本人已經離世，但是其古文文學的深厚功力、對魏晉時期歷史以及人們行為習慣的獨到認知，封建社會下愛情故事的穿插，網文界中難以尋找。

最後強推庚不讓的《俗人回檔》。都市。雖然是穿越小說，但是這本書寫到了重生邊學道與前世妻子徐尚秀的故事，雖然徐尚秀出場不多，但是真的讓人期待。
